The support of this work represents the rigid, the repetitive. It is a symbol of the imposed: norms, systems, structures that surround us and sometimes limit us. Against this background, the strokes of red, yellow, and black paint burst forth as acts of rebellion. They follow no patterns, they respect no lines. They are free, almost impulsive gestures that defy the regularity of the support.
The vitality of the red, the intuition of the yellow, and the mystery of the black speak to us of the chaos within the structure.
Together, these colors seem to dialogue with the surface, as if they were emotions seeping through the cracks in the structure. It is a work that speaks to the tension between the human and the mechanical, between instinct and control.
It can also be interpreted as a metaphor for the creative process: the artist intervenes in what is given, transforming it and redefining it. What was once an industrial sheet becomes a field of expression.
